The good thing is the site is quite accessible from different villages like Munding, Lempuyang, Bonombo, and Cemanggal Village itself. Thus, everyone won’t have any issue in getting to the location.

The Nuance
“Kembar” means twin in Indonesian. As people may expect, there are two hills located close to each other. Not to mention they have a similar appearance and size. Plus, both of them are accessible! What about the nuance? In terms of size, the hills are moderate and they come with lush plants and trees. The trekking route is considered easy, as well. As for the natural attractions, the site offers a complete option including religious tourism, waterfalls, and stunning panorama. The most common reason for visiting Gajihan Hill is definitely to enjoy hiking or trekking. Tourists only need to reach the checkpoint first at Cemanggal Village before trekking to the top of the hill. Moreover, there is no need to hire a local guide as the route is considered easy. Aside from hiking, people also come to the hill to explore all natural attractions including the famous Tirto Wening Waterfall. According to the locals, the water is drinkable due to its clarity and freshness. This explains why tourists use the spot to rest for a while before continuing the trekking activity.

The next allure Gajihan Hill is the presence of an ancient tomb of Syech Syarif. According to the locals, this person had a significant role in the formation of Cemanggal Village. It is also said he lived in the era of Walisongo. No wonder, the Islam culture seems strong in that area. Have no worries. For further information regarding the tomb, tourists can talk to villagers or the keeper later.
