Maron Beach in Semarang City, Central Java Province

While spending a vacation in Semarang City, some tourists have the need to visit beaches for sure. Well, in this case, they should head to the north part of the region where several unique shores are located. One of them is called Maron Beach and it resides beside Tirang Beach. To be exact, it is located in Tugurejo Village and belongs to Tugu Sub-District. Due to such strategic location, that means tourists are able to explore two different beaches at once! As for the tourist activities, people usually enjoy swimming and sightseeing there.

The Nuance
It is true tourists need to pay the fee to enter the beach. Have no worries. It includes the parking fee and it is quite cheap, so everyone is able to afford it. Once entering the location, they may see several eateries located near to the shore right away. That means getting foods and drinks is easy on the site. As for the shoreline, the color is gray and it features a moderate texture. The good thing is the beach has a sloping landscape and small waves. That means swimming is safe, as long as tourists don’t get too far to the midst of the sea.

Exploring Maron Beach
One thing that makes Maron Beach different than its sibling (Tirang Beach) is the waves. In Maron, visitors can enjoy swimming safer due to small waves and more comfortable landscape of the shore. Still, that doesn’t mean tourists can carelessly get in the water. Also, parents must supervise their kids well during the activity. What about those who cannot swim? Well, they can simply conduct beach walking and sightseeing by the shore.

The next recommended activity that tourists can do in Maron Beach is to visit the nearby mangrove forest. The location is approximately 30 meters apart and tourists can use the site to enjoy photography and beach soccer as well. After that, they must reach the eateries located by the shore. The foods are delicious despite the simplicity of the site! After all, nothing can beat eating foods while watching sea scenery, no? The thing is the number of these eateries keeps decreasing. Thus, tourists should only come during weekends or holidays when there are more food vendors operating on the site.

Another allure in Maron Beach is the presence of stunning sunset in the afternoon. In this case, tourists must come before the dusk and carry a camera to take photos of the sunset. Somehow, the nuance becomes romantic at the time so visitors can take advantage of it for dating and build a stronger relationship with family members.
