Those who have ever visited Klaten Regency are likely to revisit the region in the next holidays. It is because they want to visit all available Umbul or natural spring (bathing places), which are located in different areas. For example, there is Umbul Manten. This one is located in Wunut or Boto Village and belongs to Tulung Sub-District. The popularity increases over time due to lots of posts on social media sites recently. This explains why more people are interested in visiting it over time, including those who come from other regions.

The Nuance
In terms of nuance and appearance, Umbul Manten is different than the famous Umbul Ponggok. This one looks more natural and hasn’t featured many facilities or ornaments, yet. It is flanked by two big trees that come with majestic roots. On the horizon, stunning rural and green panoramas can be seen clearly, as well. As for the pond, the size is moderate and the water is definitely refreshing and clear.

Exploring Umbul Manten
Even though Umbul Manten is categorized as a natural spring, it has become another recommended place for bathing and playing water. Lots of tourists, especially local families, are also interested in visiting the site for swimming. They would come with their kids and spend a wonderful recreation together. Aside from water sports, these people usually enjoy watching freshwater fishes that live in the pond. They are also impressed by the eternal purity of the water! It is because the water keeps flowing and get filtered naturally. No wonder, it becomes quite clear and odorless.

The next difference between Umbul Manten and Umbul Ponggok is related to the size and depth of the pond. This one is shallower and smaller, actually. Thus, it is perfect for kids or those who can’t swim. The only consideration is related to the nuance, which is considered a little bit spooky, especially when the day becomes darker. The presence of various big trees like Ipik and Banyan increase the spookiness, moreover. Knowing this fact, tourists must visit the site at the best times, which are in the morning and at noon!

The next difference is the opportunity for watching a stunning sunset in the afternoon. It is because Umbul Manten resides in a perfect area for witnessing that beautiful sun view! Next, tourists are allowed to install a hammock on trees and enjoy relaxation there. Nothing can beat this experience, no? Some people even say that Umbul Manten has become a great rival to Umbul Ponggok. Each of them offers distinct allures and nuance for tourists to enjoy, though.
