Plaosan Temple in Klaten Regency, Central Java Province


Klaten Regency is located between two famous cities, which are the Yogyakarta Special Region and Solo City. The location is near to Prambanan Temple, which is about 1.5 km apart. The complex has two temples, actually. They are Plaosan Lor and Plaosan Kidul. Everyone should get to Klaten Regency first before heading to Plaosan Temple. From Semarang City, in this case, they should take Semarang – Solo Highway and head to Klaten directly. This trip usually takes around 1 hour and 33 minutes, as the distance is 97.7 km. For those who come from Jakarta City, the trip would take longer, though. It is around 7 hours and 59 minutes, as the distance is 532 km. For a faster trip, they must take the best route, therefore, which is Cikopo – Palimanan Highway. Later, once arriving at Klaten, their next destination is Plaosan Lor Village where the temple resides. The distance is 24 km, so this trip would take around 38 minutes. As for the best route, it is none other than Raya Solo – Yogyakarta Street.
