The traditional house of Mamuju is categorized as Rumah Panggung, as it is built on several pillars and features the stairs to get in the house. The purpose is indeed to avoid flood and wild animals. When it comes to architecture, the house has several parts including Salassa (the main chamber), guard chamber, barns, blacksmith chamber, and a stall. Have no worries. How to Get There
The first thing to do is to get to Mamuju City. From Jakarta City, tourists may spend about 4 hours and 35 minutes to get there by airplane. The flight departs from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and heads to Tampa Padang Airport of Mamuju Regency. Once arriving at Mamuju, they should head to Rimuku Village where the traditional house resides. This trip takes about 37 minutes, as the distance is 24.6 km.
