Rangas Beach in Pasangkayu Regency, West Sulawesi Province

Mamuju Regency is surrounded by numerous beautiful neighboring regions including Pasangkayu Regency. The fact is those also become a good place to spend a vacation especially due to the presence of fabulous beaches like Rangas. As the name suggests, the beach is located in Rangas Village and it is known for the soothing warm wind of the sea. This explains the site is suitable to enjoy relaxation and a casual holiday. The good thing is the beach also comes with numerous facilities, so tourists are able to get a good time regardless of the time of visit.

The Nuance
The best nuance in Rangas Beach occurs either during sunrise or sunset, so tourists should come only at those times. One of the reasons is the ray of the sun reflects beautifully on the surface of the sea! As mentioned before, the beach also comes with good facilities. These include small resting places or gazebos located near to the shoreline! Another good thing is that the beach has a peaceful and comfy atmosphere, which is suitable for relaxation. Moreover, a formation of coconut trees makes the site shady and cool!

Exploring Rangas Beach
One thing that makes Rangas Beach popular is indeed the panorama. The reason is tourists can see stunning background including the hills (which look soothing). Early in the morning, even the sun rises beautifully (coming out of those hills). Aside from that, Karampuang Island also looks clearly seen from the shoreline. This view combines perfectly with the blue calm sea, without a doubt. No wonder, such panorama won’t fail to hypnotize everyone.

The most favorite spot to enjoy both relaxation and sightseeing is under the coconut trees. The fact is the local government has planted several mangroves by the shore in order to prevent abrasion. For tourists, those trees indeed become another good object to capture using a camera. Thus, everyone should not forget to carry a camera or smartphone to collect those pictures. Another important tip is that they must come during a good weather. They won’t be able to take good photos during rain, after all.

The only disappointment is that Rangas Beach doesn’t come with nice facilities like eateries and toilets. Thus, tourists should have prepared beforehand especially related to foods. It is allowed to carry some snacks and drinks to the beach, but it is prohibited to litter or spoils the environment. Everyone should not ruin the beach’s beauty during the visit! Here is an idea. Tourists should carry a plastic bag to store the trash after eating or drinking on the beach. They can throw the bag after finding a bin later!
