Suweru Beach in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province

Surrounded by stunning beaches and becomes the entrance to Karimunjawa Archipelago, Jepara Regency indeed lures tourists over time. Those who come for beaches, they can start from Suweru Beach. This one is located in Balong Village at Kembang Sub-District. The beauty is undeniable and the accessibility is considered nice. Tourists only need to take Ngeplas T-junction in order to reach the site. Not to mention many local transportation services are available! However, tourists need to pass through a rocky route and rubber forest first. Have no worries. The scenery looks great along the way to the beach.

The Nuance
It is true most beaches in Jepara Regency feature a white sandy shoreline. However, Suweru Beach comes with an exotic black sandy landscape. The name derives from the presence of lush Waru trees (Thespesia populnea) growing near to the shore. No wonder, the atmosphere feels both soothing and shady there. The waves are moderate, so tourists must be careful when swimming. As for the facilities, several gazebos reside on the shoreline! Plus, the environment is clean and the nuance is peaceful. What a great beach for relaxation!

Exploring Suweru Beach
People also call it Banyu Towo or Waden Beach. The real question is what tourists may do on the site. Before reaching the beach, there is the chance to enjoy the fabulous scenery! It is because tourists need to pass through a rubber forest, which offers a comfy atmosphere. No wonder, the trip becomes more interesting! After passing through the forest, the oldest church awaits them in Balong Village. The fact is the church is located right beside a mosque. Thus, do not miss the chance to take photos of the building.

Is that all? Well, tourists may encounter a coffee plantation too that features a steep route. Have no worries. It would be a memorable adventure for everyone. If tourists want to get a better panorama, they can simply go to the top of the coffee plantation hill! That area is surrounded by lush coconut trees too. After passing through the plantation, the beach welcomes them right away. There is even a pier on the site! It becomes the right place for fishing and witnessing sea scenery, for sure.

For those coming for fishing, it is important to prepare the fishing rod and other equipment beforehand. There is no rental service in that area, after all. As for other tourist activities, visitors can enjoy beach walking on the exotic black sandy shoreline and take some photos of the sea. Swimming is possible, but everyone should be careful with the unpredictable waves.
