Love Hill in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province

Most people know Karimunjawa Island in Jepara Regency due to the marine beauty, no? Well, it is more than that in fact. It is because the island also has several other vacation spots that they can explore, including the famous Love Hill or Bukit Cinta. The location is in Jatikerep Village, which is near to Jatikerep Hill. The hill is considered new, so it remains in good condition. Not to mention tourists won’t find many visitors in that area yet (as compared to Jatikerep Hill). As for tourist activities, people come to the hill in order to enjoy sightseeing and photography. It comes with the background view of the beach, after all.

The Nuance
The best feature in Love Hill is definitely the beach background. That means tourists can see a vast sea clearly from up there. Even several small islands are quite visible! Like its sibling (Jatikerep Hill), this one also features several facilities including viewing posts, benches, and many others. Thus, visitors would feel comfortable when visiting the site. The next noticeable feature is the big stone carved with “LOVE” letters on it. The location is at the tip of the hill, and it becomes a good background for photography!

Exploring Love Hill
The main reason for visiting Love Hill is definitely sightseeing. Tourists simply sit and watch the panorama with their families regardless of the time. Still, it is better to come either in the morning or afternoon for a sunset or sunrise. The next astonishing view is indeed the vast sea on the horizon. The hill offers a perfect spot to watch the sea scenery, after all.

What is more? The next impressive view is the lush and abundant coconut trees that grow nearby. They look soothing and emit a peaceful ambiance, especially when the wind breezes! The next allure in Love Hill is the presence of various snacks and drinks offered by a mini café. The architecture looks unique and the café offers a comfy atmosphere too. The best thing is tourists are able to enjoy foods and drinks while watching the stunning scenery. As for the most popular menus, visitors usually order a cup of coffee, juices, and some pieces of bread.

It is quite satisfying that Love Hill also provides a souvenir vendor. That means tourists can spend some money to buy unique items while on the site. Even toilets are available up there! What tourists need to do is to pay the entrance fee. It is also recommended to come with either friends or families for a merrier nuance, though.

This time, they may conduct a voyage and reach Karimunjawa Island (which takes around 4.5 hours).
