Love Bridge in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province

Jepara Regency is popular among tourists, these days, thanks to the famous vacation spot called Karimunjawa Island. Still, many interesting and unique great vacation spots can be found if tourists explore the region thoroughly. Here is an example. The name is Love Bridge or Cinta Bridge. It is located in Ujungbatu Village and becomes a good place for relaxation and sightseeing. In terms of name, “Cinta” means love. However, no one knows the reason why the locals gave the name to the bridge. What tourists know is that they are able to spend a good time there.

The Nuance
The nuance is a little bit noisy, due to the presence of vehicles passing by on the bridge. It has a slightly curved design and concrete fences. The color of the fences is green, so everyone is able to notice it. The next noticeable feature is the presence of sidewalks on both sides of the bridge. That means visitors can safely conduct sightseeing and other fun things on the site, as long as they do not carelessly get on the road. The street has a heavy traffic most of the time, after all.

Exploring Love Bridge
Despite the name, the bridge doesn’t represent any relation to love at all. Not to mention tourists won’t find any couples or lovers who spend a romantic date in that area. The only thing that they can find is the solemn bridge with its nice construction. The site is, somehow, good enough to relax before continuing the trip. Have no worries. It is considered safe to stand and walk in that area. Thanks to the sidewalks. Some tourists usually take photos in front of the bridge fences, too!

Aside from relaxation, Love Bridge is suitable for sightseeing and photography. It is because the location is right after a fishermen village! From the top of the bridge, tourists can see clearly that unique local settlement. Taking photos can be done freely, as well! Is that all? The next astonishing scenery is the view of the sea scenery on the horizon. It is because the distance is quite near, which is only about several meters. Another impressive view is definitely the sunset in the afternoon! No one should miss it!

According to the locals, the most crowded time to visit Love Bridge is at night. It is because local teenagers gather in the bridge and hang out with their friends until midnight, especially on Saturday night. As long as visitors don’t run and play in the street, they can safely enjoy the nuance there. It is also recommended to carry some snacks or drinks, for a more satisfying experience.
