Bondo Beach in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province

Bondo Village at Bangsri Sub-District of Jepara Regency is known for its beautiful beaches. Here is an example. The name is Bondo Beach. Some people have a wrong assumption that the beach is the same as Ombak Mati Bondo Beach. Even though these beaches are located in the same village, they are two different beaches! The good thing is their location is quite near, which is only 1 km apart. Thus, tourists are able to visit both beaches easily (without spending too much effort and time). As for tourist activities, visitors usually spend a family recreation, eat seafood, drink coffee, and conduct photography on the site.

The Nuance
For the information, Bondo Beach has the white sandy shoreline with the length of about 2 km. Thus, it is good enough to conduct beach walking and explore. The texture is not quite soft, though, so tourists must wear comfy footwear during exploration. Located near to the shoreline, many big trees and bushes grow abundantly. Their presence creates a shady and soothing ambiance to the beach, actually. One thing that makes the beach popular is the location, which is close to a local settlement. No wonder, some villagers are often seen there. On a special occasion, in fact, the locals conduct a musical performance called “Dangdut” there!

Exploring Bondo Beach
Even though Bondo Beach is located near to the local settlement, only several villagers are seen on the beach. It is on regular days, though. The nuance changes during special moments when the locals conduct a musical performance on the beach. Almost all villagers gather in the shoreline and enjoy such merriment together. If tourists want to join the event, they should come at the right time. As for the tip, they should talk to their tour agent or local people first before visiting the beach. The purpose is to find information regarding the schedule of the event, for sure.

What is more? Tourists can see several local fisherman boats on the beach. It is because the majority of villagers work as a fisherman and often parks their boat in that area. The only disappointment is related to the environment. Some trashes are seen on the shoreline. It is because several irresponsible visitors often litter after eating or drinking. Have no worries. Villagers are concerned with this issue, so they keep cleaning the site over time.

The next recognizable feature in Bondo Beach is the presence of lush and wild bushes. They become a unique addition to the site, though. Somehow, tourists take advantage of it to conduct photography. As for other tourist activities, tourists should get in the water and enjoy swimming. They can even rent a tire buoy for their kids or those who can’t swim.
