How to Get There
Those who live outside West Kalimantan Province should take an airplane in order to reach Pontianak City (the capital) first. From Jakarta, for example, a flight from Soekarno – Hatta International Airport to Supadio Airport would take around 1 hour and 25 minutes. After arriving at Pontianak, tourists can take Ahmad Yani Street and head to Sambas Regency right away. The distance is 229 km, so the trip would take around 4 hours and 51 minutes. From Sambas, it is recommended to take Siapat and Lintas Kalimantan Poros Utara Street in order to reach Lunggi Park. Have no worries. The trip would take only about 10 minutes, as the distance is 4.5 km.
