How to Get There
The first destination is the capital of West Kalimantan Province, which is Pontianak City. Those who live outside the island should take an airplane to get there, though. From Jakarta City, for example, tourists can take an airplane service at Soekarno – Hatta International Airport and head to Supadio Airport right away. This flight usually takes around 1 hour and 25 minutes. From Pontianak, they can directly head to Sintang Regency by taking another plane. This time, a flight to Susilo Airport may take around 40 minutes. Later, from Sintang, they should take Lintas Sintang – Putusibau Street and head to the monument at Tanjung Puri Village. The distance is 15.5 km, so this trip would take about 28 minutes.
