Perintis Lake in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province


Some tourists may have recognized the famous Limboto Lake in Gorontalo Province. However, only a few of them are aware of the presence of Perintis Lake. Even though the popularity is inferior to Limboto, this lake offers distinct allures to visitors! Where is it, actually? The location is in Huluduotamo Village of Suwawa Sub-District. Also, the lake belongs to Bone Bolango Regency. The location is in a rural area and it has a smaller size than Limboto Lake. Not to mention the number of visitors is lower there. They usually come in the afternoon, which is considered the best time to catch many fishes. One thing, the size of these fishes is not as big as those of Limboto Lake. Next, after fishing, it is recommended to rent a boat and get around the lake peacefully. This must be done in a group for a cheaper fee, though.

How to Get There
For those coming from Jakarta City, they must take an airplane at Soekarno – Hatta International Airport and head to Jalaluddin Airport in Gorontalo Province. For the information, the flight usually takes around 3 hours. Next, after reaching the airport, they can use Trans Sulawesi Street and head to Perintis Lake directly. The distance is 40.1 km so the trip may take about 1 hour and 11 minutes. From Gorontalo City, for another example, the trip would take longer, which is about 1 hour and 31 minutes. It is because the distance is 46.4 km and the best route to take is Batu Doa Street.
