Monduli Island in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province

Adventure seekers are likely to look for new places to explore. Fortunately, Indonesia is a rich country and it has tons of amazing islands. In Gorontalo Province, for example, there is Monduli Island. Despite the small size, the island never ceases to amaze visitors with its beautiful underwater beauty. Aside from that, it features beaches and some good spots for relaxation too. During the visit, therefore, tourists would be able to enjoy numerous types of activities including fishing, snorkeling, swimming, beach walking, relaxation, and much more! For the information, the island resides in Botumoito Village in Boalemo Regency.

The Nuance
It would take some time to describe Monduli Island (due to the richness in beauty). First, it is related to size. As mentioned before, the island is considered small and it doesn’t feature lots of flora. Instead, tourists can find shorelines that feature white sandy landscape. The texture is quite soft either! Next, the island comes with shallow and blue crystal clear sea. This explains why sea creatures can be seen clearly either from the land or under the sea. The only disappointment is that the island hasn’t featured any facilities yet. Thus, everyone should prepare or carry his equipment and supplies during the visit.

Exploring Monduli Island
The prime tourist activities to do in Monduli Island are indeed related to water sports. Casually, tourists can get in the sea and enjoy swimming. Have no worries. The waves are small and the current is weak. That means the sea is safe for swimming, as long as tourists don’t get too far in the midst of the sea. For those who look for a more challenging activity, they must enjoy snorkeling or diving instead. In this case, they must carry the equipment. It is because no facilities or services operate on the island. The water clarity is excellent! This explains why fishes and other sea creatures like starfishes can be seen clearly down there.

Well, what about those who can’t swim or don’t like water sports? Monduli Island offers other things to do! For example, it is fishing. Once again, tourists must carry a fishing rod and other required items in order to enjoy the activity. As for the best spots, it can be done by the shore during the low tide. Have no worries. Even though the number of fishes is lower than other islands, tourists can still catch many of them later.

Another casual activity to do in Monduli Island would be beach walking. Tourists can simply take advantage of the beautiful soft-textured shorelines in order to enjoy the activity. Not to mention these shorelines have a long and vast size. Plus, the number of visitors is small! That means it feels like spending a vacation on a private island, especially during regular days. In some cases, the island is suitable for lessening and getting rid of stresses, too.
