How to Get There
The simplest way to get to Gorontalo Province (especially for outsiders) is indeed by airplane. The destination is none other than Jalaluddin Airport and the duration depends on where tourists come from. For example, those coming from Jakarta (Soekarno – Hatta International Airport) need to spend about 3 hours by airplane.
Later, once they reach Jalaluddin Airport, they can take a land transportation service and head to Hungayono directly. This trip usually takes around 4 hours. For those coming from Gorontalo City, in this case, the trip is faster, which is around 3 hours.
