For the information, it resides near to Bulungan Regency and has become a popular tourist spot among both locals and outsiders. In terms of name, “Tepian” means an edge or border and Kayan is the name of a local river. As the name suggests, the park resides on a river bank and offers a distinct environment to tourists. The exact location is at Tanjung Selor Hilir Village, actually. Somehow, it looks similar to that of Samarinda. The flight may take around 1 day and 11 hours if they come from Jakarta City (Soekarno – Hatta International Airport), actually. Once arriving at Tanjung Selor, they should get a boat service at Kayan Port and head to Tengkayu Port at Tarakan Island. The last destination is none other than Tepian Kayan Park. Tourists can take Katamso Street to get there fast. The distance is only 270 meters, so it takes only about 5 minutes.
