How to Get There
The first destination is Tanjung Selor City in North Kalimantan Province. Tourists can get there faster by an airplane, actually. For example, the flight may take around 1 day and 11 hours from Soekarno – Hatta International Airport at Jakarta City to Tanjung Harapan Airport. Once arriving at Tanjung Selor, the next destination is Kayan Port. Tourists should find a good boat service and head to Tengkayu Port at Tarakan Island right away. It may take around 5 hours to get there, though. Next, they can simply take any local transportation service and reach the beach right away. The trip takes about 22 minutes, as the distance is 9.6 km. It can be faster if tourists take Kusuma Bangsa Street.
