Tugu Australia or can be called Australia monument is one of the historical evidence of the political upheaval of World War II in Tarakan, North Kalimantan. Tugu Australia is located on Pulau Kalimantan street number 1, or 5 km from the city center, or about 400 meters to the eastern of Mayor's Office of Tarakan. This monument was built to commemorate the 225 Australian Bridge army the 26th division of the nine who died in the liberation war Tarakan of unity of Army, Navy, Air Force, comes from the states of Victoria and South Australia.
