How to Get There
For those who live outside Sulawesi Island, they need to take an airplane in order to reach West Sulawesi Province. The purpose is indeed to get a faster and more comfortable trip. Here is an example. A flight from Jakarta City (Soekarno – Hatta International Airport) to Mamuju Regency (the capital of West Sulawesi) may take about 4 and 45 minutes. It is better to take an airplane during good weather for a faster flight.

Once arriving at Tampa Padang Airport in Mamuju, they can use a land transportation service and head to Majene Regency directly. This trip usually takes around 2 hours and 18 minutes, as the distance is 85.1 km. From Majene, later, it requires another trip and the destination is Banggae Timur Sub-District where the beach is located. This time, the trip may take around 99.5 km, as the distance is 2 hours and 23 minutes.
