ORANGUTAN & PROBOSCIS MONKEY (One Day Tour)

BALIKPAPAN – SAMBOJA
In morning after breakfast leave from hotel by car drive to Samboja take one hour.

08:00 – 08:45 SAMBOJA – MEETING SERVICES
Arrive in Samboja, meeting services with local guide then you will see the few surrounding from the tower of the Orangutan at the Island.

08:45 – 09:45 VISIT ORANGUTAN
Then visit the Orangutan in the Island you will watch from the river side when the ranger feeding the Orangutan.
09:45 – 10:45 VISIT SUNBEAR SANCTUARY
Afterward, continue to Sun Bear Sanctuary and you can see how their life is before to release in the forest.

10:45 – 11:00 SAMBOJA LODGE
Return to the Lodge and taking rest.

11:00 – 12:00 VIDEO MOVIE OF ORANGUTAN
While you waiting for lunch time serve, you will watch the pre history of Orangutan why they built Orangutan foundation.

12:00 – 13:00 LUNCH TIME
Lunch will serve in the lodge.

13:00 – 13:30 SAMBOJA – SUNGAI HITAM
After lunch continue drive to Sungai Hitam.

13:30 – 15:00 SUNGAI HITAM – PROBOSCIS MONKEY
Arrive at Sungai Hitam, board to motorized canoe then cruise along the river to observe the wild life of Proboscis monkey or called long nose monkey is the only one monkey you can find in Borneo Island.

15:00 – 16:30 SUNGAI HITAM – TERITIP – CRODILES FARM
Then continue driving to Teritip visit the Crocodiles farm.

16:30 – 17:30 CROCODILES FARM- BALIKPAPAN
Back to Balikpapan and proceed to your hotel
