Monong Dance
Dance Monong / Manang / Baliatn, is a healing dance that originating comes from all Dayak communities. This dance serves as a repellent / cure / antidote to the disease, so the patient can recover. The dancers are behave like bewitched and speak out the spell. This dance is performed when the shaman is in a state of trance. Hence, this dance is part of traditional ceremonies of Bemanang / Balian tribe.
