Kuwaru Beach in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region
Due to the presence of many beautiful beaches, Bantul Regency is known among tourists and nature lovers (even those who live outside the Yogyakarta Special Region). As for the popularity, some beaches are indeed superior, especially Parangtritis. Well, here is an alternative. Tourists can visit Kuwaru Beach! The location is in Poncosari Village and it belongs to Srandakan Sub-District. The locals keep promoting this beach to outsiders these days. No wonder, the number of visitor increases over time! Both villagers and local government also provide more facilities to the site for the sake of tourists.
In terms of nuance, Kuwaru Beach perhaps is similar to that of Parangtritis. The shoreline has a black sandy landscape and the sea comes with fierce big waves! On the shoreline, tourists may find a special pathway to explore the site. Not to mention many food vendors, stalls, and common facilities are available there. Still, the most famous feature is the presence of Cemara Udang trees that grow beautifully and healthy along the shoreline. These pine trees also provide a shady and comfy atmosphere to the site!
Exploring Kuwaru Beach
Kuwaru Beach offers several allures to visitors. The best one is indeed Cemara Udang Trees. Tourists won’t find these lush trees in other beaches, after all. The location is by the shoreline and it looks a little bit similar to that of Goa Cemara Beach. The presence of these trees gives comfort to tourists, especially those who conduct beach walking. Everyone can even explore the beach comfortably at noon! The heat of the sun won’t directly hit the skin! Those trees also help to reduce the strong wind of the sea and the risk of abrasion!
The next common thing to do in Kuwaru Beach is a family recreation or relaxation. Visitors don’t need to carry foods or drinks, in fact. They can simply reach the traditional eateries and buy some foods and drinks there. The location of these food stalls is under the pine trees! No wonder, tourists can eat seafood or other delicious foods in a more comfortable manner. Don’t forget to carry enough money, though.
Those who carry enough cash can also rent an ATV and get around Kuwaru Beach comfortably. The rent fee is increasing during weekends or holidays, though. As an alternative, visitors can simply enjoy beach walking! The combination of soft sandy shoreline and breezy wind of the sea soothes everyone, for sure. In the west part of the sea, some seafood eateries reside! Don’t forget to drop by and taste some foods there.
