Gagoan Peak in Solok City, West Sumatra Province

How to Get There
First, everyone should head to Padang City. This can be done fast by airplane, indeed. For those coming from Jakarta City, they should take an airplane at Soekarno – Hatta International Airport and head to Minangkabau Airport. During good weather, this flight usually takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes. From Padang, the next destination is Solok City and the best route to take is Selayo – Padang Street. This trip may take about 2 hours and 15 minutes, as the distance is 80 km. From Solok, tourists must take Dr. Hamka Street and head to Gagoan Peak at Paninggahan Village. The distance is 25.3 km, so this trip may take around 47 minutes.
