How to Get There
The prime destination is definitely Agam Regency. However, for outsiders, it is recommended to drop by at Padang City first by airplane. This flight may take around 1 hour and 40 minutes from Soekarno – Hatta International Airport (Jakarta City), actually. After arriving at Minangkabau Airport, tourists can head to Agam right away by taking Maninjau – Lubuk Basung Street. The distance is 109 km, so this trip may take around 2 hours and 15 minutes. From Agam, the next destination is Nagari Koto Gadang and the distance is 130 km. That means the trip may take about 2 hours and 55 minutes or less.
