Pesuloang Beach in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province

Here is another recommended beach to visit in Majene Regency. The name is Pesuloang Beach, which is located in Pamboang Sub-District. The location is not quite far from Palipi Port and other vacation spots like Rewataa Cliff. As the name suggests, the beach resides in Pesuloang Village in Sirindu. What makes it special, though? According to villagers, tourists are interested to visit the beach for several activities like beach walking and relaxation. Even though the local government hasn’t provided sophisticated facilities to the site yet, the beach looks well-maintained and neat. No wonder, tourists won’t get bored there.

The Nuance
One of the best allures in Pesuloang Beach is definitely the white clean sandy shoreline. In fact, it is considered the cleanest as compared to other beaches in Majene Regency. This pristine environment is suitable for relaxation and lessening, therefore. Moreover, the beach features breezy wind and shady coconut trees. The next noticeable characteristic is the moderate waves and shallow contour. That means visitors can enjoy swimming safely there. The shoreline also has some great spots for family recreation and eating together. On the horizon, the mountains panorama looks astonishing, too.

Exploring Pesuloang Beach
Tourists’ favorite feature in Pesuloang Beach is called Nyiur or coconut trees. This explains why visitors are likely to sit under these shady trees and enjoy relaxation. This can be done while watching exotic sea scenery on the horizon. Aside from relaxation, Pesuloang Beach is suitable for sightseeing and exploration too. The beautiful sandy shoreline provides an ample area for beach walking, after all. During the exploration, tourists may find old coral reefs too in that area. It is said the age is about hundreds of years!

After exploring the beach and enjoy beach walking, tourists should not forget to get in the water and swim in it. As mentioned earlier, the waves are safe for swimming. Plus, the water is clean and comfy. One of the reasons is that the beach is located afar from local settlements. Thus, there is no waste or trash seen there. The presence of several types of trees like coconuts and mangroves improve the beach’s environmental quality, as well.

The only thing that tourists won’t find is the facility. That means visitors can’t find toilets or other basic facilities in Pesuloang Beach. Therefore, it is recommended to carry foods, drinks, and other supportive vacation items to the location. Carrying a mat is also a good idea, as tourists can enjoy eating together with families by the shore or under coconut trees.
