When it comes to a vacation in Singkawang City, tourists have many vacation destinations to visit. One of the major choices is definitely the famous Sinka Island Park. As for the location, it resides in Sedau Village and belongs to South Singkawang Sub-District. The local government decided to build this man-made tourist site in order to accommodate both locals and outsiders. The purpose is to give the best and most relaxing place for everyone to visit during weekends and holidays. In fact, it consists of three different attractions which are the zoo, beach, and park!

The Nuance
As mentioned before, tourists can explore three different tourist attractions in Sinka Island Park. The park itself comes with a serene and unspoiled environment. It also has an iconic statue having the shape of an eagle, which is located by the shore. As for the beach, it features lots of rocks and comes with small waves. What about the zoo? It keeps many types of exotic animals for tourists to watch during the visit. When it comes to the size, the total area is about 35 hectares. Overall, the site is like a heaven for travelers (especially families with kids)! The management even provides horses and “andong” to get around the site.

Exploring Sinka Island Park
The first allure is none other than the park itself. According to the local government, they apply the Chinese nuance to the park when building it. No wonder, tourists may see 12 Chinese zodiacs once they arrive at the gate of the park. The next feature is the formation of tropical trees and flowers that surround the park. Not to mention the site has a comfy swimming pool for tourists to use (surrounded by a dragon statue).

The next allure is the beach called Bajau. It is part of the park, after all. The good thing is the location is quite near to the site, so tourists don’t need to spend much time to get there. Also, they can ride the available transportation services provided by the management (as mentioned above). What about the beauty of the beach? Well, it represents the perfect tropical shore and comes with comfy gazebos. Thus, tourists can relax and enjoy the nuance to their heart’s content.

Another allure in Sinka Island Park is the zoo. As people expect, this site keeps stunning and exotic animals including tigers, elephants, lions, monkeys, snakes, giraffes, cockatoos, and much more. Not only tourists can watch those animals, but they can enjoy occasional attractions done by the management. Do not forget to take advantage of the fishing pond to enjoy the activity later!
