West Java Fantasy Tour Package 5 Days/4 Nights

monas-jakartaDay 1: Arrival-Transfer To Hotel
Upon arrival in Jakarta, our guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Overnight at Hotel Aston Atrium or similar.

Day 2: Jakarta’s City Tour
Breakfast at hotel. You will discover the most beautiful sights of Indonesia’s capital, exploring the Old Harbor of Sunda Kelapa, still crammed with old schooners from all over the archipelago. Afterwards we continue our trip visiting the National Monument (Monas), the 137 meter landmark of Jakarta built during Sukarno’s Government, crowned with 35 kg pure gold. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) or Beautiful Indonesia In Miniature Park will be our next stop, and here we’ll see the cultural richness of different ethnic groups of Indonesia. Lunch will be provided on the way. Overnight at Aston Atrium or similar.

Day 3: Jakarta-Bogor-Bandung
Breakfast at hotel. On the way to Bandung, you will stop at the 80 hectares Bogor’s Botanical Garden to see this major center for botanical research of Indonesia-with over 15.000 species of plants and trees, and to see the Bogor Presidential Summer Palace-which was the official residence of Dutch Governor General (1870-1942). You’ll go through the cool Puncak Pass with superb view of the vast tea plantations. Overnight in Bandung at Papandayan Hotel or similar.

Day 4: Bandung
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour visiting the craters of Mount Tangkuban Perahu (the legendary mount of The “Up Turned Boat”) and the delightful spa of Ciater, which is fed by Hot Springs of Tangkuban Perahu. In the afternoon (at 15.00 p.m.) we’ll see Ujo’s Angklung (typical bamboo music) Performance. Overnight at Papandayan Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Bandung-Baturaden
Breakfast at hotel. We will leave for Baturaden-one of Java’s most attractive mountain resorts with cool air and forested hills, with stops at Tasikmalaya-the major centers of handicrafts fashioned from bamboo, rattan and pandanus materials and a visit to Naga Village, one of the most beautiful and most traditional village of West Java. Each of its 102 houses and mosque are built (according to old Sundanese customs) on stilts along an east-west axis, using wood, bamboo and thatch. Overnight at Queen Garden Hotel or Rosenda Cottage or similar.
