Orangutan Borneo Tour Program (5 Days)

Day 1: PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI – TANJUNG HARAPAN
Arrival at Pangkalan Bun drive to Kumai for 20 minutes and board on the boat and up to sekoyer river to Tanjung Puting National Park. On the way up stop Tanjung Harapan Rehabilitation to witness feeding time. Late afternoon cruise slowly the river observe the wildlife such long noses monkey , long tail macaque, birds along the riverside. Dinner and Overnight on the boat ( L, D )

Day 2: PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY
Today boat up the river for Pondok Tangui, the second orangutans station we will visit, witness feeding time at 09.00am. Afterward continuing boating up on tea colored river to camp leakey. You will see the magnificent reflection from the vegetation along the river, when lucky with us, the fresh water crocodile and other wildlife attraction could find a long river bank. Take short trekking through forest searching for wildlife as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for orangutan given additional foods. Dinner and Overnight on the boat. (B,L,D ).

Day 3: BOAT – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – BANJARMASIN
Breakfast on the boat and down the river back to Kumai then to Pangkalan Bun airport for fly to Banjarmasin. Upon your arrival at Banjarmasin airport, meeting service and drive to Loksado at Kandangan Regency with stop at Muara Hatip Village. Lunch provide at local restaurant. In the evening visit Malaris Dayak Longhouse, where you might have chance to meet the natives at longhouse. Dinner and overnight at Meratus lodge or similar.(B L,D)

Day 4: BAMBOO RAFTING – BANJARMASIN
After breakfast, visit some other villages and observe the native way of life and joining bamboo rafting through Amandit River with its unique and nature panorama for about 4 hours. Return after lunch to Banjarmasin . Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Victoria hotel or similar ( L, D )

Day 5: FLOATING MARKET – AIRPORT
Early morning at 05.30 a.m, take the boat and proceed to lokbaitan floating Market for around 1 hours, paddle around the river to see the peoples activities selling for food and vegetables on the river. Enjoy taking picture while having tea or coffee at local floating cake called “Rombong” to . Back to hotel for breakfast. Back to hotel and transfer to the airport for your next destination ( B )
