Orang Utan Tour Experience 3 Days/2 Nights

Day 1: Airport – Kumai- Proboscis Tour – Rimba Lodge
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service will be held then we’ll take you to Kumai, seaport and the gate of Tanjung Puting National Park. Continuing the trip, we cross Kumai River on a klotok boat in approximately 15 minutes to reach Sekonyer River, the main river in the National Park. Lunch will be served by our own cook. Afterwards, we’ll continue our tour aboard Klotok boat for about 2 hours to reach Rimba Lodge. Check in at Rimba Lodge and then we enjoy the surrounding ambience. At about 16.00 p.m. we continue our trip to explore the Sekonyer River to observe the life of Proboscis monkeys along the river. Then we’ll be back to the hotel for dinner and for overnight. (Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2: Rimba Lodge-Pondok Tanggui-Camp Leaky-Rimba Lodge
After having breakfast, we proceed upstream into Camp Leaky area, passing by the Pondok Tanggui, which is the second rehabilitation center for smuggled orang utans, where we can see orang utans at feeding time at about 09.00 a.m. To reach the feeding platform, we will be able to enjoy the natural scenery of Borneo’s low land forest and its wildlife. You’ll have great opportunity to make friends among orangutans and take great pictures with them. Afterwards, we’ll be back on board of the boat to continue our tour to Camp Leaky, passing by the scenic Black River where live many kind of wildlife, among them are the endemic Frog Crocodile. Upon arrival at Camp Leaky, we’ll do a bit hiking trek into the forest to gain more information about the heterogenic wildlife of the forest. At 12.00 p.m. we’ll be back to the boat for having lunch. And afterwards we will join the orangutan feeding program at about 14.00 p.m., and then finally we’ll be back to the boat to return to Rimba Lodge for dinner and for overnight (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 3: Rimba Lodge – Kumai – Pangkalan Bun
After having breakfast at the Lodge, then we take the klotok boat down the river back to Kumai. From Kumai we will take you back to Pangkalan Bun to catch flight for Semarang, then to Bali. Tour Ends.
