Bromo Tour Start From Surabaya

The easiest way to reach Bromo is from Surabaya. Surabaya Bromo is around 4 – 5 hours drive.

Day 1: Arrival Surabaya – Bromo
Arrive at Juanda international airport, you will pick up by the driver then take you directly to Mount Bromo via Pasuruan and Probolinggo on private air-conditioned car. This journey will takes about 4 hours drive. If your flight arrival is early, stopover can be made at Prigen’s Taman Safari. Taman Safari open until 4pm only.
Entering Sukapura, the road to Bromo, for about 18kms, we will be through traditional villages with beautiful panorama of valleys and mountains. The last stop is Cemorolawang village.
Overnight at hotel at Cemorolawang – during the afternoon you can view the beautiful sunset from the edge of area.

Day 2: Mt. Penanjakan – Mt. Bromo – Ranu Pane – Surabaya
Early morning at around 3.30am, a 4WD Jeep is ready to take you to Mt. Penanjakan view point to enjoy the sunrise coming up from a far. When the sky is clear, you can see Mt. Bromo, Mt. Batok and Mt. Semeru as well as Mt. Raung in a far.
Afterward, you can go down to Tengger Sea of Sand and heading to the Hindu Temple and hike up the steps to view Bromo crater.

The journey will continue to the savanna in Tengger sea of sand, bordered by mountains. Another 1 hour drive you will arrive at Ranu Pane (Lake Pane) and Ranu Regulo (Lake Regulo). Both are located in the foot of Mt. Semeru and is the last shelter before people hiking up the highest mountain in Java.
After a short break, go back to hotel to have lunch.
Check out time is at 12.00 and continue the journey back to Surabaya. Tour End!
