Tuti Adagae Hot Spring in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province

One thing that tourists should know is that Alor Regency offers more than beautiful beaches. For example, there is a recommended hot spring to visit called Tuti Adagae. The location is in Air Mancur Village and it is the part of Northeast Alor Sub-District. It is a little bit surprising, though. The fact is Alor Island has no volcano at all. So, the existence of such hot spring is considered an amazing phenomenon! This explains why most tourists won’t miss the chance to visit the site and do several fun activities there including photography and exploration. The only thing to consider is the route, which is considered challenging and difficult.

The Nuance
So, what is in there? Tuti Adagae Hot Spring, as mentioned before, features a challenging route. Even tourists should ask a direction from the locals in order to avoid getting lost. In terms of nuance, the site is quite peaceful due to the inexistence of keepers. Here is the thing. Tourists may find two spots of hot spring there. The first one is located about 100 meters from the parking area. Another resides a little bit further from the first, so tourists should spend more time to get to the location. Moreover, the second hot spring is located in the midst of a river! What is more? The site is also surrounded by tall green trees!

Exploring Tuti Adagae Hot Spring
Once arriving at the parking area, tourists can start trekking to Tuti Adagae Hot Spring right away. The nuance is peaceful due to its secluded location, though. However, it depends on what time they may visit the site. Usually, the hot spring becomes more crowded at noon. Thus, for those who look for a peaceful atmosphere, they can either come early in the morning or late in the afternoon. So, what can people do there?

As mentioned before, two hot springs reside there. The first one is located not quite far from the parking area, which is about 100 meters apart. Thus, it won’t take much time to get there. The good thing is visitors don’t need to pay an entrance fee to get to the site. Another impressive fact is the uniqueness of the hot spring itself. Unlike others, the steam comes from an orange stone and it emits hot water as well. The first hot spring, which is located near to the parking area, has the spurt with the height of about 5 meters! Thus, do not get too close to it.

What is more? The second waterfall resides in the middle of a river and the location is a little bit far from the parking area, though. However, it has a shorter spurt so tourists can get close to it without worries. Do not forget to take pictures of those hot springs during the visit, though.
