Kemukus Waterfall in Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province

In that area, they can park the bike and walk to the site through the available footpath. The distance is about 1 km, actually. After walking for a while, they may reach the first level. It requires trekking (passing through a cliff with the height of 30 meters!). Have no worries. This effort won’t go into a waste at all.

Once arriving at the first level, tourists can take their time to enjoy the scenery and collect some photos using their camera. Later, they can either go to the next levels or not depending on their stamina and supplies. One thing, the nuance is misty so the visibility can be quite low sometimes (especially in the morning). Also, the temperature is quite cold so tourists must wear warm clothes when visiting Kemukus Waterfall.

It is because tourists need to give many efforts in order to reach the site. It requires both stamina and supplies, so everyone should be prepared.

For those coming from Semarang City, they may spend about 3 hours and 22 minutes to get to Wonogiri Regency. It is because the distance is 169 km. If they want to get there faster, they need to take Semarang – Solo Highway. Once they arrive at Wonogiri, their next destination is Purwoharjo Village at Karangtengah Sub-District. This trip takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, as the distance is 34.7 km. As for the best route, it is recommended to take Raya Batuwarno – Karangtengah Street. From the village, it only takes a short trekking to reach Kemukus Waterfall.
