Kampung Anyar Waterfall


Called Kampung Anyar waterfall because it is located in the hamlet of Kampung Anyar, Taman Suruh village, Glagah district of Banyuwangi. One of excellent destinations waterfall in the town of Banyuwangi. The uniqueness of waterfall for visitors can be enjoyed the three waterfalls at once in one place. Many designations of this waterfall, ranging from Bersaudara waterfall, Kembar waterfall, Kampung Anyar waterfall, Bidadari waterfall and also Jagir waterfall.

Kampung Anyar waterfall comes from the three springs that appear on top of a cliff named Sumber Jagir, Sumber Pawon and Sumber Butut Ijah. The most interesting waterfall here is Sumber Pawon waterfall, because flowing water is not too heavy and wide enough. The atmosphere is cool scent of mountains providing coolness to magnetic the visitors to coming the place. Besides enjoying the view of waterfall the visitors can play or bath under a waterfall and take some of pictures here. Not far from the waterfall, located about 200 meters to the west there is Kategan waterfall, to get to the waterfall you can go along the river as far as 100 meters upstream. Kategan waterfall comes from a source that falls on top of Kalibendo waterfall. The waterfall is higher than two waterfalls before and had a fairly heavy flow of water.

Access to get to Kampung Anyar waterfall is easy. Takes only 20 minutes from Banyuwangi downtown to the west to Kampung Anyar village about 15 km. Around the waterfall area reserved parking area. From the place walk down the cliff as far as 100 m. In the middle of trip will meet a very beautiful view of cliff with pieces of stone like the sculptured stones in diamond shiny lumps when exposed to the flow of rain water.
