This sacred place is considered one of the biggest temples in Nusa Penida. Due to the uniqueness, lots of tourists visit it over time either to conduct exploration or photography.

The Nuance

For the information, the temple resides on 150 meters above the sea level and it has the length of about 310 meters. Due to the popularity, it has a high number of visitors as well. No wonder, the nuance becomes both sacred and merry. When it comes to the name, “Giri” means a hill while “Putri” means a princess or a girl. In order to get in the site, tourists should conduct some efforts. They also need to pass through 110 stairs to reach the mouth of the cave. The size of the entrance is only 80 cm, so it takes some efforts to get in it.
